This brochure design explores a visually engaging format that is thoughtfully designed to the way different panels interact with each other based on how they connect and separate. For this design, a gate fold is utilized and seeks to encapsulate the soft-spoken and dreamlike visual aesthetic of Japanese photographer Rinko Kawauchi in her work. Typography, alignment, visual contrast, and photographic subjects are all taken into careful consideration to bring forth the overall cohesion of the piece.
